The Green Deal Home Improvement Fund (GDHIF) covers a range of energy savings improvements, such as insulation, boilers or windows, which can save hundreds of pounds off annual bills.
"By installing energy saving improvements, families across the country can enjoy the benefits of warmer, more energy efficient homes and lower bills,” commented Ed Davey, Energy and Climate Change Secretary.
The change in policy reflects growing awareness that energy savings can be made by improving thermal insulation in the home. Several Deeplas products – while not eligible under the Green Deal scheme – can enhance insulation as well as improving the appearance of the home, such as our Twinson Premium Cladding or EasyCeil ceiling system.
